AHPG 829 Coptic I - Bohairic - Assessment
| Learning any language is only possible by continuous assimilation of new words and grammatical structures, by memorization and constant repetition of the knowledge acquired and by application of this knowledge by means of translation and grammatical exercises. Students will therefore need to be prepared to set aside several hours each weeks for their assignments (mainly translation exercises), for the consolidation of their grammatical knowledge and for learning new vocabulary (at a rate of about 40-50 new words each week).
Assessment will be on the basis of weekly assignments and vocabulary quizzes, as indicated in the following table. Details can be found in the study guide or on the internal pages of the unit. |
